The Project

The partners of the Haniaccess projects confronted to the existing gap between multiplicity of material and software solutions, allowing access to computers to disabled persons and the difficulty for those same people, their surroundings and the professionals helping them to identify the existing and relevant resources. Thus the partners of the handiaccess project have decided to create an open, evolutive and collaborative database.

The objectives of the Handiaccess site:

• Put to everybody's disposal, a collection of technical cards on material and software helps, as well as their way of implementation.
• Allow the enrichment of this database and its evolution in time with the help of the users.
• Facilitate the dissemination of informations in several languages.

An internet site has been set up in order to reach these objectives. This site allows an ongoing evolution of information and the evrybody's contribution through the possibility of becoming a writer.
