CFive partners initially engaged themselves in the settling of this project but other partnerships are still possible ( contact: admin@defitech.ch).

One of the main characteristics of this project is its cooperative aspect: each one has access to the entire online informations and each one can, by coming a writer, contribute, to the improvement, the enrichment and the evolution of the information.

	For a disabled person, data processing is a privileged way to open oneself to the world, to communicate, to work and to entertain. The DEFITECH foundation has given herself the mission of putting data processing technology to the service of sick children, disabled persons or seniors. The DEFITECH foundation wishes to facilitate the access to new technologies of information and communication for disabled persons, with this database of shared knowledge in particular by sensitizing the professionals of health.
	The objective of the ICOM center (project of the French programm of international handicap) is to assure, around the technologies of information and communication, research , experimentation and development of innovating solutions (technical, software or pedagogical) and their diffusion. In order to facilitate a full participation of disabled persons. A multidisciplinary team carries the project: psychologist, pedagogue, ergotherapeutist, multimédia animator, sociologist. The Icom' center offers a collection of resources on different rangescof competence in the TIC usage by disables persons: techniques, pedagogical et devices of implementation.
	Information and advice centeron technical help for the Rhône Alpes region, Mieux Vivre offers professional advices on helpful material for the daily life. Its documentation center enquires and informs about all technical helpsthat can help improving the daily life. Its witness flat, Octo Logis, proposes to visualise the technical helps installed in appartments. Its ergotherapeutists can visit one patient to help conceiving an arrangement project and identifying the obstacles to autonomy. An adaptation service to the computer station proposes to help defining solutions for the access to the computer station.
	The new technology platform (La Plate Forme Nouvelles Technologies (PFNT)of the university hospital, Raymond Poincaré is a site for advice, demonstration, formation and research in the area of new technologies applied to disabled persons. Initially directed only towards assistance robotics, it opened little by little to other technologies as data processing, communication and demotic. The presence of two ergotherapeutists on the site allowed a considerable development of its activities and gave real means of intervention. We would like to point out th support of the direction team and the medical community of the Raymond Poincaré hospital, aa well as the users associations that helped developping this unique structure in its way of functionning in France.
	The goal of the Swiss foundation for the telethesis is to put technology to the disposal of physiycal, polyhandicapped or mental disables persons. Our activities concern the amelioration of communication between people without oral language, the control of the environment in housing in case for instance of paraplegy, the accessibility to a computer when the mouse and the keyboard are not useful or even security of persons suffering from Alzheimer. Our services include information, formation and a follow-up, as well as all activities linked to the maintenance of all used technologies.
