Virtual keyboard is a text processing help  software.

System requirements :

Operating system : Mac only. Requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher.

(A previous version is still available for Mac OS 9 and earlier versions of Mac OS X)

Functions  :

Typing mode : click only.

Cells content : letters, functions (no settings about the cells content).

Speech : reads written text and selected letters.

The keyboard always floats above other applications, and allows the change of application

Disadvantages  :

No word prediction.

You cannot create your own keyboard, and the only way to change it is to change the preferences of Mac OS X, which makes the personalization of the keyboard very difficult.

The only way to have access to Virtual Keyboard is by clicking : you cannot use self click, nor scanning.

You cannot set the font : its size automatically fits the size of the window.

The buttons to minimize and maximize the keyboard or the text area are too small.
